Kid’s Meatloaf Recipe

Is your child already bored of the classic, traditional and boring meatloaf? Surprise your child with this meatloaf recipe with a twist!

For this recipe, here is what you will need:

½ cup of ketchup

2 tbsps of brown sugar

¼ tsp of garlic powder

1 piece of egg

1 tsp of mustard

1 tbsp of milk

1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce

¼ tsp of ground black pepper

1 tsp of salt

1 ½ cups of crispy wheat cereal squares

1 ½ tsps of onion powder

1 ½ pounds of ground beef

What you need to do:

Place ketchup, mustard and brown sugar in a large bowl and mix it well. Get 4 tablespoons of the mixture. This should be reserved for later as it should be placed on top of the loaves. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic, onion, milk, ground black pepper and egg to the mixture in the bowl.

Add in the wheat cereal squares and allow it to stand for about 5 minutes. Break up the wheat squares, place in the ground beef and mix it well. Once the mixture is thoroughly blended or mixed, shape it in the mini loaf pans. Place it in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for about 65 minutes. Brush with a bit of the ketchup mixture then bake for 15 minutes more.

Pizza Pinwheels

Here are the ingredients that you will be needing:

1 can of refrigerated roll crescent dough

2 cups of shredded mozarella cheese

24 pepperoni slices

1 can of pizza sauce

Here is what you need to do:

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Pinch your crescent rolls triangles, creating rectangles. In each rectangle, place six pepperoni slices and equal amounts of mozarella cheese. Roll the rectangular doughs lengthwise. Ensure that it is tight enough. Afterwards, slice the doughs into 4 pieces or more. Place the dough into the preheated oven. It will take about 12 minutes until it will become golden brown. Serve this with a pizza sauce as dipping.
